European/ISO 8859-1,2 (Hungarian, English, Czech, etc), Cyrillic and Korean fonts are supported along with 12 subtitle formats (MicroDVD, SubRip, OGM, SubViewer, Sami, VPlayer, RT, SSA, AQTitle, JACOsub, PJS and our own: MPsub). But, by default, I want mplayer to be a tiled window. Essentially two steps are required: a) Set the window and activity properties to fullscreen and/or immersive mode and (if desired) change to landscape mode. I want to display videos with mplayer fullscreen across the two monitors. You need to implement this yourself or find some third party code for this Im afraid. MPlayer has an onscreen display (OSD) for status information, nice big antialiased shaded subtitles and visual feedback for keyboard controls. The ExoPlayer library currently does not provide a built-in way to enable/disable fullscreen mode. MPlayer supports displaying through some hardware MPEG decoder boards, such as the Siemens DVB, DXR2 and DXR3/Hollywood+. mpv is a movie player based on MPlayer and mplayer2. After updating from MPlayer r35034 to MPlayer r35203 (also tried MPlayer r35254) there is always flickering where the actual video and the lower added black. it is because i not configure / add driver for my grafic card tq A adamk 2 It sounds like mplayer is using it's generic x11 output device, rather than the xv or opengl device. Also note this might not work in all players if they open a new window when going fullscreen. pressing the fullscreen 'F' button.mplayer will go fullscreen but the movie/video will stay at its original size. I start gnome-settings and perhaps this is the reason. on odd colors and other screen issues for further troubleshooting. Right click on the title bar and select it: I have not actually tried this in Unity, however as noted in my comment, this is a compiz thing, and I am using compiz with gnome-panel which does exactly the same thing. so by default that is what mine is using and it maximizes. It works with X11, Xv, DGA, OpenGL, SVGAlib, fbdev, AAlib, DirectFB, but you can use GGI, SDL (and this way all their drivers), VESA (on every VESA compatible card, even without X11!) and some low level card-specific drivers (for Matrox, 3Dfx and ATI), too! Most of them support software or hardware scaling, so you can enjoy movies in fullscreen. Hi, If I press the louder/soften audio keys on my multimedia keybord the Mplayer fullscreen ends and it gets normal size. it won't go fullscreen and it stays centered in the middle of the screen. Hi, I installed debian 6.0 and have a problem with mplayer running in fullscreen/maximised window. For full-screen mode to work properly when embedding the Windows Media Player control, the video display area must have a height and width of at least one pixel. Video seems to be ahead of the audio by about half of a second.
